The competion was opened in September 2004 and it was accompanied by a debate on photography and the web. The award was published in January 2005 by a jury composed of Matteo Balduzzi, Vincenzo Chiarandà, Claudio Parrini, Gianni Romano and Franco Vaccari. She got her degree from the Academy of Fine Arts at Brera and the CFP Riccardo Bauer in Milan.
