Nightshifts is the winning project of Netshot, a national competition for photographic web based projects promoted by the Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea in collaboration with UnDo.Net. The competion was opened in September 2004 and it was accompanied by a debate on photography and the web. The award was published in January 2005 by a jury composed of Matteo Balduzzi, Vincenzo Chiarandà, Claudio Parrini, Gianni Romano and Franco Vaccari.

Meris Angioletti was born in Bergamo in 1977.
She got her degree from the Academy of Fine Arts at Brera and the CFP Riccardo Bauer in Milan.
