The Dig is a version of the Expedition in which we become archaeologists rather than anthropologists. The year is 2084, and a secret cache of forbidden tapes and poetry books has been discovered in Pennsylvania. We present a reconstruction of certain musical events of the 20th century based on the scanty information available to us in 2084, after the war on terrorism became a war on culture, the Western Cultural Revolution, closing down the web and driving all non-official information under ground.
