The jury of the Moroso Award for Contemporary Art - composed of David Adjaye, architect and designer; Marc Sanchez, curator and international critic; Patricia Urquiola, architect and designer; Carlo Bach, art director of Illy Caffe'; and Giulio Ridolfo, art designer - awarded Anna Galtarossa the New York prize, Martino Gamper the Cologne prize and Christian Frosi the London prize. Special Mentions to the artists Ettore Favini for his Private View and Gabriele De Santis for his Seven Sisters. The Moroso Award gives the three winning artists the opportunity to realise an in-residence, site-specific project at the Moroso showrooms: in New York during the Armory Show (3-6 March 2011), in Cologne during ArtCologne (13-17 April 2011), in London during Frieze Art Fair (13-16 October 2011). 'Skyscraper Nursery' is a special installation by Galtarossa on show untill March 26 at Armory Show. Preview Thursday March 3, h. 6 - 8 PM.
