Artist Marina Rosenfeld, in collaboration with New York City youth choirs and musicians, presents a new performance work integrating electronic, live, and ambient sound. Borrowing from schematic enterprises as varied as rhythm and blues vocals, spectral composition, and experimental notation, Rosenfeld's roygbiv&b translates the iconic form of a rainbow into sound. This program is presented by MoMA's Department of Education, in conjunction with Instruction Lab and the exhibition Contemporary Art from the Collection. Acoustics and electroacoustics consulting and collaboration: Raj Patel and Dave Rife, Arup. Free with Museum admission.
