Futura Center for Contemporary Art cordially invite you to the lecture of Slovakian artist and resident of Futura Magda Stanova: 'Algorithms in Art: Rehearsal for upcoming lecture'. Almost all our behavior is navigated by some standardized sets of instructions - algorithms. Art is a field where it is allowed and desired to escape from what we are used to, to avoid stereotypes, to break boundaries, to violate predictions, to surprise, and to search for things that haven't been discovered yet. Despite that, even in the art world, most works are similar and very few things are really new. The lecture will take place on April 28th 2011 from 7pm at the Center for Contemporary Art Futura. The lecture followed by discussion will be conducted in Eglish.
