A solo exhibition featuring the work of London-based photographer and Sang Bleu magazine editor Adrian Wilson.
GGGallery presents a retrospective of Wilson’s beautiful and provocative fashion photography as well as personal
work that spans the past fifteen years of his career.
Comprising a collection of portraits, fashion images and snapshots all united by an acute sense of the corporeal and
clandestine. Alluding to the ambivalence of power-relations and the duality of seduction, Wilson focuses attention on
the fear and fascination of the forbidden and fetishized materiality of the body and original object. These notions of
fetishism visible in both published and unpublished images assigned for Sang Bleu are underscored by an apparent
compulsion to repeat and reproduce specific photographic motifs.
Pervaded by a touch of irony his images in I Need You More than You Need Me unfold to us an intriguing world of
obsessions, vanity, narcissism and voyeurism.
