Negotiating art and deregulation. Symposium
The conference features the finalists of 2011 Paper's Prize (co-organized by e-flux and Artforum), an initiative to support emerging scholars conducting innovative research on contemporary art. The conference includes presentations on possible links between deregulation-as an economic and cultural paradigm-running parallel to the rise of the post-studio condition. The 2011 Paper Prize Finalists are Natilee Harren, Nate Harrison, and Yates McKee. The winner is announced at the conference.
