The exhibition, called Museum without Building, will take the shape of three works of monumental proportions just outside the art center's building. Cneai is part of the Balades en Yvelines - Contemporary art around the corner - event.
For the third time in a row, Cneai will be a part of the Balades en Yvelines — Contemporary art around the corner — event, whose main purpose is to showcase outdoor artworks. By inviting the artist Yona Friedman, Cneai welcomes all the public to a truly exceptional journey.
Foreshadowing the 29th and 30th of September official reopening and inauguration of it’s refitted and restructured spaces, Cneai takes advantage of the Balades en Yvelines proposal and builds, along with the artist, a whole new exhibition in the open.
The exhibition, called Museum without Building, will take the shape of three works of monumental proportions just outside the art center’s building. Light, free-formed, and opened, two of them are the contemporary embodiment of «feasible utopias», a key concept in the artist’s thinking. These aerial structures can therefore formalize improbable spaces.
