microMONO16. Live set
Cologne's Glitterbug is known for using analogue electronic equipment. His live sets have been called "prodigious feasts" contained by "moments of abyssal melancholia and points of ecstatic rapture". Intro Magazine said his album Privilege was "destined for nothing less than eternity". In his performances, Glitterbug collaborates with Israeli video artist Ronni Shendar; her visuals becoming integral to this exceptional club-music experience. Clare Cooper was born in Sydney, but has been living in Berlin. She takes a unique approach to improvisation, in which her instruments - the harp and guzheng (a large Chinese zither) - are radically transformed and divorced from their traditional roots. A joint project with Room 40.
