Wantee and Friends. Performance by Laure Prouvost and Maria Benjamin with Guitar by Chyamolonskas. Laure Prouvost's commission for the Schwitters in Britain exhibition explores the lasting legacy of Kurt Schwitters. For her one-off performance, Prouvost will take audience in search of her fictional grandfather, a conceptual artist and one of Schwitters's close friends. Tea will be served, in honour of Schwitters's companion Wantee, nicknamed due to her habit of asking: 'want tea?'. The exhibition will be open for private view before and after the performance.
