Alterity Display

Lawrence O'Hana Gallery, London

Lothar Gotz' wall paintings resonate with the physical structure of the space they inhabit, providing an optical experience of architecture and exposing colour's sensual quality. In his work, Chinese Roulette, the artist will direct a visual interplay between the gallery space and Condorelli's architectural device.

3 March – 10 March 2004, open daily from 11-6pm.
Preview: 3 March, 6.30-8.30pm

Lali Chetwynd,
12 March – 14 March 2004, open daily from 11-6pm
Preview: 12 March, 6.30-8.30pm
Lali Chetwynd presents a series of slides featuring a collection of paper masks. Made out of found images, these masks are an irreverent look at the history of film, painting and performance through the medium of collage. The slides reflect the theatricality of the original masks, as well as their hallucinatory, Victorian sensibility.

Emanuel Danesch and David Rych,
17 March – 28 March 2004, open daily from 11-6pm
Preview: 17 March, 6.30-8.30pm
The video archive of Emanuel Danesch and David Rych consists of more than 100 videos produced by artists and film directors from capital cities in Europe and the Middle East. The exhibition will be the London transit stop of their ongoing project, Utopia Travel, which links different zones of cultural production. The public will be invited to browse through their archive.

The artists will give a talk at the gallery on 20th March, at 5pm
