The Downtown Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour of the many art exhibition venues in Downtown Los Angeles - commercial art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues.

New in August:
The Regent Galleries on Main Street and IMG-81 Gallery on Broadway join the Art Walk.

Participants in the Downtown Art Walk are the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles Public Library, The Fine Arts Building Gallery, Grey Goose, L.A. Artcore Center, 2nd Street Cigars and Gallery, de Soto, M. J. Higgins, bank, Crewest, The Regent Galleries, Pharmaka, Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, El Nopal Press, Bert Green Fine Art, INMO Gallery, Niche.LA/Lounge 441, Kristi Engle Gallery, Art Murmur Gallery, 626 Gallery, Gallery 727, The Hive Gallery, Infusion Gallery, IMG-81, Museum of Neon Art (MONA), and the Downtown Art Gallery.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive by public transit, as the Art Walk is easily accessible by the Red, Gold, and Blue line trains which run until midnight, and the area is well served by the DASH bus system until 6:30 pm. Parking is plentiful in the areas many paid lots and garages, at meters on the street until 4 pm, and free after 6 pm on most streets.

The Downtown Art Walk is sponsored by Pete's Cafe & Bar at 4th & Main Streets, and 213 Ventures' Golden Gopher and Broadway Bar. The Downtown Art Walk also partners with the Center Theatre Group by taking part in the Art Lovers Series, a special theatre subscription program. A link to the Art Lovers Series can be found on the Downtown Art Walk website's Partners page. The Downtown Art Walk is a program of the non-profit Gallery Row Organization.

The vision of Gallery Row Organization is to create a thriving, pedestrian-friendly, culturally abundant, urban neighborhood. Gallery Row Organization will educate the public and facilitate cultural and economic revitalization by:

1. Providing consulting services and educational programs;
2. Encouraging creative businesses and cultural institutions to establish locations within Gallery Row;
3. Distributing information on existing incentives and creating new economic incentives for the incubation of enterprises within Gallery Row;
4. Promoting the Gallery Row district and its cultural attractions.
