Lowest Common Denominator is a cycle made up of five exhibitions which investigate the limits and potential that the gallery space offers as a point of encounter between work and spectator. Through works specially conceived for the space of the Montcada Gallery, the cycle sets out to take a closer look at the special features of the exhibition space and the nature of the experiences possible within the architectural, institutional and symbolic framework it represents

Lowest Common Denominator is a cycle made up of five exhibitions
which investigate the limits and potential that the gallery space offers
as a point of encounter between work and spectator.
Through works specially conceived for the space of the Montcada
Gallery, the cycle sets out to take a closer look at the special features
of the exhibition space and the nature of the experiences possible
within the architectural, institutional and symbolic framework it
represents.
Even if each exhibition starts out from very different angles, they all
share a common denominator: the work of the artist as reinvention of
the possible worlds which come together in that particular context. A
cartography of hypotheses on the opportunities that the exhibition
room offers for establishing a link with the spectator. A link by means
of which spectators can affirm their identity as such, fictionalise it or
make the expectations aroused by the fact of going to see an artistic
work comparable with other usual experiences encountered in the
urban sphere, such as relating socially, having fun or " why not? "
experiencing a love story.
