Generative Art performs the idea as process. Moving from Artefacts to Artegens.
GA builds Natural/Artificial Worlds.Transforming generative codes realize, as the natural DNA does, always different and unpredictable series of events, pictures, industrial objects, architectures, music, environment, communications, software and hardware devices, all recognizable by creative concepts.
GA is identifiable as one of the most advanced approaches in creative and design world. It performs the incoming new naturality of artificial world.
Generative Projects, Morphogenetic Design, Evolutionary Systems can design the species, their identity in progress, the recognizability of each possiblegenerated event.

With Generative approach we can control the quality and manage the increasing complexity of the contemporary objects, spaces and communications.
Today the generative approach to Art and Design represents the best way to carry out the idea as a product, and not only the product as the unique representation ofthe idea.

GA2001, as the last 3 previous annual conferences, gives the opportunity to develop and to exchange theorical approaches, operative and teaching experiences and to value the innovative field of production and business that belongs to Generative approach.
An exhibition of Generative Works: 2D/3D Images and Artworks, VHS Video, Generative Robots and Hardware, Installations, Art/Design Web Sites, CD-ROM, Interactive Environments, Musics, Slide projections, Video-Music Generations, Movies, Generative software working in real time, will be presented in the Exhibition Hall.
Music and Video Performances will be presented to a more vast audience in a public space.
