This annual event, now in its 4th year, brings together
some 50 leading galleries and dealers.
LONDON'S ONLY ANNUAL FAIR FOR ALL ORIGINAL WORKS ON PAPER
The 4th Art on Paper Fair will take place from 7 - 10
Febuary 2002 at London's Royal College of Art. Sir
Christopher Frayling, Rector of the RCS, will open the
Fair at 12 noon on the 7th.
This fully vetted Fair, with some 50 dealers brings
together a stunning and diverse mix of works of art on
paper: watercolours, drawings, original prints and
photography. Images ranging from an Albrecht Durer
woodcut of 1496 to 16th and 17th century Old Master
drawings are featured, together with 18th century
topographical watercolours. From the 20th century
there are lithographs by the likes of Picasso, Chagall
and Matisse, and a strong Modern British and pop art
content, alongside European contemporary images,
new wave prints from Japan, limited edition illustrated
books and platinum prints by American born
photographer, Cy DeCosse.
With prices from as little as £50 and rising up to many
thousands, this refreshingly different event, through its
diversity of medium, really does offer 'something for
everyone'.
