Seventh edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, the celebrated international art show. More than 250 leading galleries, include 25 new participants, showing works by more than 2.000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Special sectors are devoted to recent artworks, curated exhibitions, video and sound-based works, performances, and art in public spaces. Furthermore, 20 young galleries presents cutting-edge projects in converted shipping containers on the beach, while another 20 exhibit within an experimental collaborative space. Among side events: the themes of Art Basel Conversations focus on producing, collecting, and exhibiting art; Art Salon is a new and open platform for discussion, with an emphasis in current themes in contemporary art.

Art Basel Miami Beach is the most important art show in the United States, a cultural and social highlight for the Americas. As the sister event of Switzerland's Art Basel, the most prestigious art show worldwide for the past 39 years, Art Basel Miami Beach combines an international selection of top galleries with an exciting program of special exhibitions, parties and crossover events featuring music, film, architecture and design. Distinguished art collectors, museum directors, biennale curators, gallery owners, publishers, artists and architects take part. They present their current and upcoming projects, report on their experiences and comment on the challenges they face, providing an insider’s view and opening up an opportunity for dynamic and inspiring dialog.

The themes of Art Basel Conversations focus on producing, collecting, and exhibiting art. Distinguished artists, art collectors, museum directors, curators, critics, gallerists, publishers, and others active in the cultural sphere take part. Presenting their current and upcoming projects, reporting on their experiences and commenting on the challenges they face, these speakers provide an insider's view and open up the opportunity for dynamic and inspiring dialog. After each Art Basel Conversation, there is time allotted for the audience to approach the panel in a more informal fashion.

Art Salon is a new and open platform for discussion, with an emphasis in current themes in contemporary art, informal in its format yet international in scope. Art Salon encourages experimental roundtable discussions with an array of speakers ranging from artists and curators to authors and architects. The program offers an intimate experience for the audience to engage with prominent and thought-provoking guests on a variety of art-related topics. Art Salon is located in the Art Guest Lounge, where the Art Basel Conversations also takes place.
