The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog. Filmed in 1926, The Lodger is the film that introduced many of Hitchcock's classic thematic trademarks. It will be presented with an original electro-acoustic soundtrack performed live by Filippo Castellazzi (guitar), Michael Stratz (Double Bass), Mark Van Soest and Hakki Takki (electronics). Filmmaker, Julian Cole first met Gilbert & George when he modelled for them in 1986. He decided that now they had photographed him he wanted to film them. His moving portrait filmed over 17 years, traces their lives from humble beginnings to their role on the world's artistic stage where they have performed an enduring and controversial double act for over four decades. Film premiere on 20.00 hrs.
