MUESTRA is the first international fair of contemporary art to be held in Monterrey on April 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2002 at Cintermex, International Business Center.
With the objective of reuniting the most select of international art galleries, MUESTRA is born as a response to a cultural need that permeates different social strata and together with the actual historical, political and social events justifies the appearance of this fair of international transcendence.
MUESTRA intends to be the site where the most exquisite forms of art converge, and that its first edition be representative of the most outstanding works in Mexico and the world.

MUESTRA is proud to simultaneously host F.I.T.A.C. "Foro de Teoría del Arte Contemporáneo" [Contemporary Art Theory Forum]. Directed by Cuauhtémoc Medina, a Mexican curator of international prestige, F.I.T.A.C. once again assures to be the rendezvous point of outstanding art personalities who will share their knowledge with students, artists, gallery owners, art collectors, and anyone who wishes to participate in an art forum of international dimensions. Exhibition hours

Friday, April 5th, 2002: 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 6th, 2002: 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 7, 2002: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

ART COLLECTORS PROGRAM

Diverse activities, especially designed for the occasion, will be offered throughout the event where art institutions, collectors and galleries will coincide. Monterrey will dress for the occasion to give a warm welcome to these important guests.
