The first major exhibition in more than 20 years to focus on the work of the
important British Romantic printmaker, poet, and painter, William Blake
will present more than 200 works drawn from public and private collections
in Britain, America, Canada, and Australia. The broad range of Blake's
artistic and poetic vision will be represented, with special attention to his
innovative printmaking techniques and methods of painting, his visionary
imagination, and the implications of his radical politics for his art.
The exhibition is being organized by Tate Britain, London.
