Interference Patterns
The University of Southern California School of Fine Arts' Fourth Annual
International Festival of Time-based Media in partnership with the Armory Center
for the Arts.
Dear Friends and Supporters of AIM,
With the AIM IV: Interference Patterns Exhibition well under way, we would like
to remind you that more selections from the pool of submissions will be on view
at Bank from March 1 - April 15, 2003. These works include Marsia
Alexander-Clarke's High Flyin' Bird, Tony Cokes' 6^, Miracle Perfection Series
by David Dodge, Halo by Demian Petryshyn (AIM IV Honorable Mention), Gregory J.
Scranton's ROY-G-BIV II (AIM IV Honorable Mention) and Six Fans by Dean Snell.
The works range from creative digital videos to perplexing interactive
installations. We are pleased to be able to put them on display at Bank and
would like to thank Jose Caballer and Lorraine Molina for making this event
possible.
Bank is an innovative contemporary art gallery focused primarily on design, photography, digital art and video. Bank is driven by
an explorative focus on the relationship between art and technology, positioning
it as a unique gallery within the Los Angeles art community.
We hope you will be able to join us for the opening reception on Saturday, March
1, 2003 from 7-10 pm. There will be wine, food and an enjoyable discussion
filled evening as AIM continues to celebrate the time-based media community and
their achievements.
