Costas Lefkochir demonstrates a unique and mystical relation with light, the latter
being the core of his inspiration. This exquisite bond has undoubtedly found a way
to express itself in various contexts, yet without ever being questioned. This
bright source has been deeply treasured and, above all,totaly illuminated the
artist's work, displaying its major importance.
Maria Vladi gives clay an abstract shape of natural size, glorifying the element of
fire and, on the same time, revealing how a contemporary artist can create new forms
and shapes, being influenced by the history of her home country. An interesting,
philosophical aspect coinciding with a rather structured, aesthetic approach to the
temporary depiction of the modern world.
