The show is recognised as the leading UK showcase for young artists working in portraiture. The entire competition is judged from original paintings and around 50 short-listed entries are exhibited in the annual show. This year, the first prize was awarded to Dean Marsh for his work Giulietta Coates. won second place Saul Robertson.
