xyz. Solo show. Cyril Blazo is part of a younger generation of post-conceptual artists, who, over the last decade, have been definitive for a lively and aspiring scene in Slovakia. His interests lie in the almost endless visual wealth of media images, which he reconfigures with diverse methods into new, pointedly ironic formulations in his work.
amt _ project, opening in april 2010, will represent contemporary young artists from central europe and will specify their importance on the international art scene. The current program of the gallery is focused on an undoubtedly present and unique phenomenon, the relation between the young artists and the generation who's activity began in the seventies.
The gallery's aim is to develop a coherent programme communicating the message through the individual expressions of the represented artists.
