It was one of my best comes
The title of the exhibition "It was one of my best comes" is an excerpt from a poem by Cedar Cigo, a young poet of the American alternative scene with whom the artist is working in a tight and fruitful collaborative process. In the central space of the art center, Oscar Tuazon et Eli Hansen are working together in installing two trees ripped of the forest and presented constrained, tied and uspide down. The goal is to Capture the material in this state of in-between, no longer in a natural raw state but not yet a finished product. The cut and ripped tree, answers this functionless state, not entirely a tree anymore and not yes a table or a chair. An object in waiting, a little absurd, creating a suspended moment of lyrical tension by becoming, in the same time, an architectonic element.
