A video project by Emma Hedditch
Emma Hedditch is an artist that really enjoys talking to people, and asking for their opinions or advice. Emma makes videos and sometimes invites other
people to make shots for her, following simple instructions such as ' Video a child in vast space'.
Emma is the founder of a video chainletter project
called 'and i will do' alongside her long term pen pal and artist friend Miranda July in the US who founded the video distribution network 'Joanie 4
Jackie' in 1995.
Both Emma and Miranda try to support other women and girls through these projects, and the work that these females make and send
to them has become endlessly inspiring to their own lives.
During this evening Emma will show some of the work from the chainletter tapes and
demonstrate the effects of their power and optimism.
