lyonswiergallery is pleased to announce our forthcoming exhibition by artist
Paul Green.
Paul Green often creates thought provoking psychological dramas that are
challenging
in their frankness. Using myth, mythology, and fairytales for narrative
sources,
Paul examines a delicate and emotional communion between man and nature.
All of the images place figures in baron or blighted landscapes, just beyond
the fertility
of civilization. These stark portraits stand at the crossroads between
futility and effectual,
death and rebirth, longing and love. And although the body of work appears
melancholy
and haunting the fundamental message is hope.
