Akkumulation. At the Grazer Kunstverein, Berlin-based artist Michaela Meise will present new sculptures consisting of objects, reproductions and books from different sources, connected and stacked upon each other with plates of plexiglass. Having the grape-vine (see image) as a metaphor in mind Michaela Meise makes the gathering and accumulation of the found or researched material her central mode of creation. Opening Tuesday, January 18th 2011 at 7 pm.
