An exhibition of photography of the human body by Nicholas Clements

Until now the work of artist/photographer Nicholas Clements has only been accessible through several books published between 1996 and 2001, detailing his obsession with the human body and many of the cults that surround it. Ten years in the making, SUPERNATURE is Clements' first exhibition and focuses on the diversity of form within the human genus.

The show comprises around thirty images presented as IRIS prints, each one a single photographic work in it's own right and each one a pure photograph without computer manipulation or enhancement. Not only has Clements found some extraordinary examples of the human body at it's most fascinating; he has also found new ways to examine the nude, probably the most over subscribed category of photography. It is the idea that there is still something left to photograph within the genre of the female and male nude that has pushed Clements on to find his subjects for SUPERNATURE.

THE GREAT DIVERSITY OF THE HUMAN BODY

The artist seeks to explore the infinite possibilities offered by the combination of form and sexuality. Clements showcases the unusual and presents us with a photographic life class of the rare, the unexpected and the fascinating.
