Eleven Italian artists are invited by the curator Carolina Lio to describe the situation of art and culture in today's Italy. The curatorial idea is to depict that through the use of one of the most common languages of that country's artists: the ironic, fantastic and - sometimes - grotesque expressions.

In "Faulty Fables", eleven Italian artists are invited by the curator Carolina Lio to describe the situation of art and culture in today's Italy. The curatorial idea is to depict that through the use of one of the most common languages of that country's artists: the ironic, fantastic and - sometimes - grotesque expressions. In this project, all artists are building a wrong fable, telling some dark story of losses and showing the clear sense of a huge disappointment from the Italian gaining ground generation.
The event is possible thanks to a grant by the Finnish Government and the support and the coordination of 00130 Gallery, no-profit organization founded in 2005.
