This is Another Place
We are delighted to announce that an exhibition of new work by Tracey Emin, titled This is Another Place, will be presented at the Museum of Modern Art Oxford.
The centre-piece of the exhibition will be a major installation for MOMA's spacious Upper Gallery inspired by the artist's visits to Northern Cyprus. The exhibition will also include neon pieces, film works and drawings.
Born in 1963, Tracey Emin studied at Maidstone College of Art and the Royal College of Art. The artist's work has been seen in numerous exhibitions around the world. In 1999 she was short-listed for the Turner Prize and in 2001 she won the Jury Prize at the Cairo Biennale.
Tracey Emin's This is Another Place is initiated and organised by the Museum of Modern Art Oxford. Oxford is the only venue for the exhibition. The artist's last solo exhibition in a public gallery in the UK, I Need Art Like I Need God was held at the South London Gallery in 1997.
