The three finalists were chosen by the jury panel to present their work at the AuthentiCity exhibition, which will be on view in New York from July 8 to 27 at the SVA Gallery, 209 East 23 Street.
As finalists of the contest, they each received a cash prize of $3,000 along with a commission to develop a new body of work over the next months related to “discovering new urban lifestyles,” which will be presented at the exhibition. The final winner will be announced at the exhibition reception and will receive a prize of $10,000.
