Mission: portare a PARIS, tra le tombe del Pére Lachaise, musica liofilizzata in mp3, direttamente dal piano di Dario Della Rossa, per 'reidratarla' con l'azione e per farla rivivere in aerei 'veli d'acqua'.
La poetica di Sheren sbarca nel 'cimetièr', in omaggio ai molteplici talenti 'visionari' di Raymond Roussel, che ora riposa accanto a diversi RoussEAU e dove per qualche tempo sostarono le spoglie di Rossini. Accade il 14 luglio, in occasione dell'anniversario della morte di Roussel, avvenuta a Palermo nel 1933, ma anche di una fête --non solo national-- in memoria di un'autentica Rèvolution. Così Laura Cristin prende fatti, luoghi, coincidenze, geometrie parallele come pretesto per un'azione (pata)fisica. Volteggiando tra i simulacri dell'aldilà, cerca di raccogliere suggestioni di vite e di morti, nel movimento di un mantello di cielo o di un'onda fluttuante.
La performance si riallaccia a quelle realizzate per l'11 marzo 2004 ad Atocha (Madrid) o per il 7 luglio del 2007 a Londra , in ricordo di vittime innocenti; in continuum con la recente “Ballata delle foglie perdute” (Palmanova, 2011) che indaga su perdite di natura ecologica. L'intenzione è quella di rendere quasi 'tangibili' e un po' più 'eterni' --almeno per un momento-- i frammenti di un Tempo che non appartiene solo al singolo individuo, ma anche alla storia, alla Natura, alla collettività.

“Temps Eternel”
art action of Laura Cristin & Dario Della Rossa's mp3 in Paris, at the cemetery of Pére Lachaise, in the annual Homage to Raymond Roussel curated by Gianni Broi, starting from 14:00, in front of chapel Thiers (division 55) till 18:00
Mission: bringing in PARIS, in the air of Pére Lachaise, lyophilised music, in mp3 format, straight away from Dario Della Rossa's piano. The aim is to 'rehydrate' the notes through the 'physical' action and to express the sound in aerial 'water veils'. The poetic of Sheren lands in the 'cimetièr', in the form of homage to the 'visionary' genious of Raymond Roussel, whose rests now lie where Rossini's remains stayed for some time and various RoussEAUs are buried. It all happens on the 14th of July, on the occasion of the anniversary of Roussel's death, that occurred in 1933 in Palermo and in coincidence with a -not only French- fête regarding an 'authentic' Revolution. Laura Cristin brings into a (pata)physical action, facts, places, connections and parallel geometries. Dancing about the simulacra of the 'next' world, she will gather evocative suggestions -- from the lives and the deaths-- in the motion of a blue veil, resembling the vault of heaven in a floating wave.
With this performance, Sheren continues the series dedicated to the innocent victims, such as the one for the 11th of March 2004 in Atocha (Madrid) or the SherenaDa for July 7th, 2007” in London, as well as the latest “Ballad of the Lost Leaves” (Palmanova, 2011) that was about a loss of ecological kind. The idea is to give 'tangibility' and a touch of 'eternity' --at least for a moment-- to the fragments of a Time that not only belongs to the individuals, but also to the history, the Nature and the community.
