First edition: by access & paradox. A contemporary art fair dedicated to photography that features 43 booths, ranging from classical exhibitions to installations. This year the fair celebrate the very dynamic British photography scene and introduce some of its key figures. Photo-Festivals organises nofound_photoreviews, the newly launched portfolio reviews for emerging and mid-career artists and photographers.
nofound_photofair is a contemporary art fair dedicated to photography. It aims to bring together all stakeholders in the captured image around unique and original projects. The 2011 edition of nofound_photofair features 43 booths, ranging from classical exhibitions to installations.
nofound_photofair team, working closely with its exhibitors and partners, sets up a series of projects and events that take place before, during and after the fair. – Follow the progress of nofound_photofair projects in real time on Project Rooms.
For its first edition, nofound_photofair invited two collectors to show a selection of their collections, works representative of their efforts and their commitment to the contemporary photography scene. Two spaces in the fair will be invested by Marty De Montereau et Arnaud Oliveux.
SNAP: Short Stories about Life, Work and Art, the special nofound_phototalks ’carte blanche’ to Institute for Artist Management will take place Saturday 12th November from 2.30 to 5.00pm at the nofound_photofair. A line-up of award-winning visual artists will tell stories about life, work, and art during the week of the photographie in Paris, featuring : Jodi Bieber, David Chancellor, Edmund Clark, William Daniels, Yann Gross, Guillaume Herbaut, Elizabeth Hingley (NextLevel Projects), Richard Mosse, Matthew Niederhauser and Kate Peters.
Photo-Festivals partnered with nofound_photofair to organise nofound_photoreviews, the newly launched photo fair’s portfolio reviews for emerging and mid-career artists and photographers during the opening week (11-14 November 2011).
Sharing the philosophy and mission of the fair, nofound_photoreviews gather international experts in contemporary photography and related media such as curators, publishers, critics, festival art directors, and gallery owners.
