Parcours. The exhibition offers a variety of stations with different narrative and expository pieces concerning the mystery of the economic and some of its aspects and terms.
“The exhibition touches on the question of their narratability and offers a variety of stations with different narrative and expository pieces concerning the mystery of the economic and some of its aspects and terms: the exchange and its operations, the condition of possibility of the gift and their gestures, things in their relation to man, the things as objects and their fetish character becoming a commodity, but also their immanence is to be considered.
It will cast a glance at the annihilating character of money and its (in)finite opportunities of abstraction, at the physical state of the money, as it is known to us. We try to look to the future of money and will ask the question why we won´t need it any more.
It will address the relationship between faith, dignity and credibility, and about how these concepts relate to the loan, about the impossibility of visualizing work, their non-visibility, and why we do not look to when we might see them. We try to offer a representation of aesthetics, a comparison of marginal issues, perceptions and problems which results in what is still called capitalism. We will deal with the contrast rational / irrational and will try to decipher the rules, laws and structures of economic, if they exist at all. In the exhibition there will be an orientation system, there will be signs with markings and direction indicators.”
