The 'anti pavilion' plays the Festival for Spatial Sound and Advanced Music Composition 2012.

TBA21 presents the continued investigation into the unexplored universe of experimental sound utopias at The Morning Line – the “anti pavilion“ (10 meters high, 20 meters long, 20 tons heavy; 47 channels, 53 speakers; 10 performers, 2 days, three-dimensional sound) conceived by the artist Matthew Ritchie and the architects Aranda\Lasch and Arup AGU and transmitted via the multi-spatial audio system designed by Tony Myatt at the sonic landscapes of Schwarzenbergplatz.
For the Festival for Spatial Sound and Advanced Music Composition 2012 at The Morning Line in Vienna guest sound curators Boris Ondreička and Franz Pomassl invited Asfast (Austria),
Auxpan (Iceland), Benzo / Richardas Norvila (Lithuania/Russia),
Kollektiv/Rauschen (Austria),
J. G. Thirlwell (Australia/USA),
Carl Michael von Hausswolff (Sweden),
Jana Winderen (Norway),
Zavoloka & Kotra (Ukraine) to conceive new acoustic works, commissioned by TBA21. These new compositions were presented as world premieres in Vienna.

J. G. Thirlwell (live, UA / premiere) AU/US
is a composer/producer/performer based in Brooklyn, who also works under many pseudonyms including Foetus, Manorexia, Steroid Maximus, Baby Zizanie, Hydroze Plus, Clint Ruin and Wiseblood. He has released over thirty albums.
Benzo / Richardas Norvila (live, UA / premiere) LT/RU
Benzo, (smell of Moscow = gasoline...), also known as Richardas Norvila, Lithuanian based in Moscow. He works as a philosopher and psychotherapist. He writes scores for theatres as well.
Pomassl (live) AT
Pomassl, also known as Franz Pomassl, Austrian based in Vienna. He is the co-founder of Laton label, dj, trained as painter – the graduate of Arnulf Rainer. He teaches sound at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna as well. Please find more information also here.
Auxpan (live, UA / premiere) IS
Auxpan, {Aux(iliary) Pan(el)}, also known as Elvar Már Kjartansson, Islandic based in Reykjavík and Seyðisfjörður, founding member of Skálar in Seyðisfjörður. He works also as a specialist in electro-cabeling in the extreme conditions.
Zavoloka & Kotra (live, UA / premiere) UA
Zavoloka, also known as Katerina Zavoloka, Ukrainian based in Kyiv, was trained and still works as graphic designer.
Kotra, also known as Dmytro Fedorenko, Ukrainian based in Kyiv, founder of Kvitnu label. His background is in high mathematics and classical guitar. He is also involved in internet industry as owner and manager.

Carl Michael von Hausswolff, Swedish based in Stockholm, studied economy, literature and musicology, he is co-monarch of Elgaland-Vargaland.
Jana Winderen (live, UA / premiere) NO
Jana Winderen, Norvegian based in Oslo, studied mathematics, chemistry and fine arts.
Asfast (live, UA / premiere) AT
also known as Leon Leder, Austrian based in Vienna, the youngest of the line-up, has begun playing drums at the age of eight, as a teenager he began with piano.
Kollektiv/Rauschen (live, UA / premiere) AT
Kollektiv/Rauschen, (Collective/Buzz) are Sebastian Bauer, Samuel Schaab, Christian Konrad Schröder, Markus Taxacher, Austrian artists based in Vienna.
The Morning Line can be visited beyond the festival at all times.
