The 6th edition of the London's fair for 20th Century art, design and decorative arts.
PAD London is proud to announce the participation of 60 of the world’s most prominent galleries in
its 6th edition on Berkeley Square, the most vibrant and international to date. New exhibitors include
three major galleries from Asia – Gana Art Gallery (Seoul), a leader in Modern Art in Korea, as well
as Pearl Lam Galleries (Shanghai/Hong Kong) and Gallery Seomi (Seoul), both specialising in
Design. An additional fifteen Modern Art and Design exhibitors from Barcelona, London, Zurich,
Paris, Brussels, Munich, Los Angeles and New York, round out the fair’s impressive contingent.
Modern Art shines at PAD London this year. Prestigious US galleries Castelli Gallery (New York),
Skarstedt Gallery (New York), Paul Kasmin Gallery (New York) and L&M Arts (New York/Los
Angeles), together with Offer Waterman (London), Galerie Thomas (Munich) and Galerie
Gmurzynska (Geneva), present exceptional masterpieces ranging from Modernism, German
Expressionism, Viennese Secession and Modern British, to Post-War and Classic Contemporary.
Galerie Diane de Polignac (Paris) offers an outstanding mix of Modern Art and furniture, while the
design section introduces Hervé Van der Straeten (Paris) and Gallery Fumi (London), both
showcasing a range of cutting-edge contemporary design. Caroline Van Hoek (Brussels) and
Elisabetta Cipriani (London) join the jewellery section with striking pieces by contemporary artists
and designers.
This year marks the launch of a prestigious new Moët Hennessy-PAD London Design Award.
The £15,000 award will be presented to a young designer whose work will be selected for its
exceptional creative and innovative qualities by a distinguished panel of judges, chaired by Nigel Coates.
The Award will run alongside the annual Prizes for Best Stand and Best Object.
