Southfirst gallery is proud to present 'School is Out.' The exhibition
features works by Jeremy Blake, Yvette Brackman, Mari Eastman, Glen Fogel,
Maureen Gallace, Ulrik Heltoft, Corinne Jones, Virgil Marti, Seth McBride,
Alice Neel, Cindy Sherman, Sandra Vallejos, and Anton Vidokle. The work
was chosen by Michel Auder, whose film/video program 'Intimate Stranger:
Selections from the Work of Michel Auder,' is currently on view at the
Anthology Film Archives, and who was asked by Southfirst to curate the
summer show.
An opening reception will be held at the gallery on Friday,
June 27, from 7-9 PM.
Southfirst projects include a subscription program with editioned works by
emerging artists. Summer gallery hours are: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 1- 6
PM and by appointment. Subway: L train to Bedford Avenue. For more
