Absence / Mancanze. Photography show curated by Leda Lunghi
Absence / Mancanze. Alessia Cocca's photographs are shadows that never leave us in the ephemeral blurring of time. As reflections of our unconscious and labile human existence, built in (made of) either what we are, but most especially in (of) what we have missed, which has slowly faded before our eyes; ''perhaps we are equally made of what has been and what could have been'' said javier Marias in speech for the Romulo Gallegos Award ceremony. Her exhibit is a reflection on life, time and abandonment, on both having and not having been, on everything the presence in this world represents, no matters how precarious and ephemeral it might be. Curated by Leda Lunghi.
