Les Trois Grâces
A subject as old as the world framed in countless images, both known and fantasized. With no pretention whatsoever of creating a scientific or museum exhibition, we have the great pleasure of offering you a contemporary reading of the Three Graces in a sumptuous and astounding ten-minute film by Jean-Luc Moulène. The film was made in 2012 for his exhibition at Modern Art Oxford, in London.
We have also invited several artists from the gallery to create a piece solely for this special occasion, each giving his or her own interpretation of the Three Graces.
Abraham Cruzvillegas, Thomas Hirschhorn, Elizabeth Peyton, Danh Vo, Heimo Zobernig have gladly joined the project and are now flanked by James Ensor, Rudolf von Laban et Francis Picabia.
A museum-like exhibition of the Three Graces is something to be contemplated...
