Circuito Off

The fourteenth edition of Circuito Off will be held in the new Theatre of Palazzo Grassi, under the artistic direction of Mara Sartore and will mark the beginning of a new stage in the history of the Festival.

In its thirteen years of existence, Circuito Off has become an international reference point for experimental audiovisual creation. A catalyst for new styles, trends, and languages, Circuito Off has always placed at the centre of its research the mixing of genres, questioning the fluctuating identity and mutable nature video.

Today, Cicuito Off represents for its audience a window into the vast world of video creation in all its complexity, in its evolution, between new technology and old tricks of the trade—an ideal bridge between art and cinema that is constantly changing and perpetually reinventing itself.

This new collaboration with Palazzo Grassi - the Francois Pinault Foundation, which opens the doors of its new theatre, recently renovated by Tadao Ando, to the festival, returns Cicuito Off to the heart of the city and represents a unique opportunity to emphasise once again the connection Cicuito Off has with contemporary art and its role as a promoter of emerging talent. The programming of Circuito Off, which through the years has been presented in various formats and in diverse locations in order to stimulate a dialogue between the directors and the public, will as always offer an interesting opportunity for discovery and encounter.

The exciting, new features of the next edition of Circuito Off will be announced in the coming months.
