comunicato stampa

Frieze Art Fair launches this October 17-20 with 123 leading international contemporary galleries

The Frieze Art Fair, London's first international contemporary fair launches this October. Focusing on the most dynamic generation of galleries working today, the fair is a vital addition to the existing spectrum of global events for the dedicated art audience.

Over the last decade, London has developed into one of the world's leading centres for contemporary art, with a lively artist community and an enviable range of museums. In October collectors, curators, gallerists, artists and critics will be joined by their peers from around the world.

The Frieze Art Fair will incorporate a number of innovative features to make it the fair with a difference. There will be an ambitious talks and events programme, specially commissioned artists' projects and an inventive catalogue. The fair will be housed in a structure designed by award-winning architect David Adjaye in Regent's Park, London's most beautiful open space within easy walking distance of London's West End.

Fair Dates
Friday 17 October - Monday 20 October 2003
Professional preview for invited guests: Thursday 16 October
