Art and science come together in this
unique exhibition that loooks inwards at
the source of creativity and invention
for artists and scientists alike - the
human mind.
It's in Our Head features the best work
from ten arts centres around the UK and
is the culmination of a year long
programme of workshops between
neuroscientists from leading research
centres, arts professionals and young
artists.
Each art centre focused on a particular
area of research and interpreted their
findings using different media -
electronic imaging, sculpture,
photography and video installations.
Perception, memory, visual
interpretation, chemical communication,
visual ambiguities and substance abuse
are some of the issues addressed.
