Biography
Aaron Young (born 1972) is an artist based in New York. Young was born in San Francisco. He works in sculpture, performance, photography and drawing. His work became known when video documentation of a student project involving a motorcyclist repeatedly cycling around the San Francisco Art Institute was bought by MoMA. Young is influenced by the dangerous performance work carried out by Chris Burden in the 1960s.
