What Has Been Said and What Is To Be Said

A conversation and launch of three publications: Alternatives to Ritual publications, No Ground Underneath, and Curating Subject
Alternatives to Ritual, both as an exhibition and a publication, attempts to look at the crises in exhibition making and curatorial practice by proposing a reconstruction of the relationships between artists, institutions and curators through exploring the exhibition format. With contributions by Nikita Yingqian Cai, Lu Jing, Shen Boliang, Su Wei, Yang Beichen, Xiaoyu Weng and Biljana Ciric. The book will have a number of launch events, including the following: What Has Been Said and What Is To Be Said - Exhibition Making as a Knowledge Field - with co-launch of the following publications: No Ground Underneath - Curating on the Nexus of Change (published by Times Museum), and the recently translated Curating Subject publication (published by Times Museum). A conversation on some of the fundamental issues related to exhibition making will be held between the editors of the publications, Nikita Yingqian Cai, Carol Yinghua Lu and Biljana Ciric, with a number of guests and contributors.
