We are pleased to present our summer show featuring the work of Neil Campbell and Nicole Ondre. While both Campbell and Ondre engage the viewer in acts of directed vision, their work follows differing agendas. Their respective processes break down painterly abstraction; in Ondre’s work on the side of production; in Campbell’s case on the side of perception. Together their work reveals affinities and tensions that generate powerful visual effects.
Neil Campbell is based in Vancouver and has exhibited extensively in international contexts. He is represented by Galleria Franco Noero in Turin and Office Baroque in Brussels.
Nicole Ondre is from Vancouver and is currently based in Berlin and Hannover where she is completing her Master’s degree.
This exhibition is curated by Toronto writer and curator Christina Ritchie.
