As part of our partnership with Art for the World and the 70th anniversary of the UN, the Centre des arts has the great honor to receive the Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto on October 7th, for an exceptional conference titled Third Paradise. This conference inaugurates a cycle on the theme of Art as awareness. Michelangelo Pistoletto is an Italian contemporary artist, painter and sculptor who joined the Arte Povera movement from 1967. With a successful career and many awards, he also founded the City of Art Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto as a center and laboratory supporting research on creative resources and innovative ideas. He received the Praemium Imperiale Award in painting in 2013. Doors open at 18:00, conference at 18:30. Auditorium Centre des arts, La Grande Boissiere, free entry.
