Delfina Foundation open the doors for a weekend of activities to celebrate the end of our summer residencies. Come and join our resident artists as they share their ideas and works-in-progress. Hera Buyuktasciyan is a Turkish artist based in Istanbul, her work focusses on the notion of the 'other' and concepts of absence and invisibility, identity, memory, space and time. Pallavi Paul's work is deeply engaged in the technologies of poetry and time travel. Philippe Gruenberg's work looks at the construction of an imaginary through edifications whose order is constantly pierced by intersections and conflicts. Luiz Roque is interested in the plasticity of the image, its surface and iconic potential, he often uses analogue technologies particularly Super 8 and 16mm film. Behnam Sadighi's work is founded in documentary photography. Through sound, drawing, object, painting and photography, Ayesha Sultana is interested in the poetics of space. Delfina Foundation will also be participating in London Open House with tours of our building by architects Studio Octopi.
