Pablo Mozuc

ArtCenter's Studio, Miami Beach

Presented in partnership with Panal 361, Banco ESA! is a project created by visiting artist Pablo Mozuc from Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is based on a complex mix of economics, pseudo-finance and traditional oil painting. Pablo Mozuc (1976 - Lives and works in Buenos Aires) is a painter who has also worked with video and sculpture. He is co-founder of the art editorial Dos Fuerzas. He has participated in exhibitions in Argentina, Spain and the United States. During Art Basel in Miami Beach at ArtCenter, Mozuc installs a second branch of Banco ESA! equipped with original handcrafted currency that may have different valuations depending on the day, much like the stock market.
