From the grand-guignol of the 'cinema of transgression' to the photographic provocations of 'New York girls'- in which sex replaces blood - Richard Kern moves between glamour and pornography, reality and fiction, fashion-like temptations and rough documentaristic form. It's not any wonder that in his work we can meet either common persons and stars like Lydia Lunch or Marylin Manson, being themselves or acting themselves for a game or a provocation.

Torchbearer of the counter culture (between cinema, performances and videoclips, he has collaborated with the main authors of the movement, Richard Kern (author of acclaimed books as New York Girls and Model Release, collaborator of leading fashion and way of life magazines),
has for at least a decade defined an artistic conception that abandon the most perturbing and violent elements to rely solely on sex.
