Wayne Rooney

Just to let you all know that on the 23rd of July the exclusive opening of Wayne Rooney will be unveiled at the V.T.O gallery 96 Teesedale Street, London. Nearest tube Bethnal Green.

This new and amazing show has been curated by the new and amazing artist Liam Scully an M.A. graduate from Chelsea College of art and design 2003.

Liam has been given the opportunity to take on the V.T.O space and use his amazing skills to create a new and improved exhibition showcasing artists that he thinks are very good. Gathered from studios and bedrooms alike he wants to give these beings the chance to show their brilliance.

In alphabetical order the artists are as follows.

Nathan Barlex: Nathan graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2000 working as a member of twenteenth century. He now paints dinosaurs look out for his book Monet Dinosaur.

Greg Cox: Graduated from U.C.E. Birmingham school of art in 2003. When asked where his sculptures lie he replied ' We all know that a pane of glass goes with a carrot just as a union jack goes with a lemon, but the question is how?'

Jim Hague: A worthy fisherman he graduated from Northumberland at Newcastle school of art in 2003. In 1996 he won the BP national portrait prize and now sculpts and photographs invented landscapes.

Reuben Henry: Graduated from U.C.E Birmingham school of art 2001 and now runs the springhill institute an artist run studio, exhibition and education space in Birmingham. Henry is now concerned more with talking about art rather than making art so is making art about talking about art in order to curb the tidal wave of video art crap flooding out of the art schools.

Elizabeth McAlpine: Graduated from Goldsmiths in 1996 and the Slade in 2000. She is obsessed with film as a thing and says her work is like a kind of stutter; geology.

Harry Pye and his friends: Harry Pye graduated from Winchester school of art in 1995. He was the editor and publisher of Frank magazine for five years and in 2000 began curating such well-received exhibitions, as 'it may be rubbish but its British rubbish', 'Viva pablo' and '100 mothers'. Pye has since returned to painting and will be showing his first Tryptych.

Suzi Schneider: Gained notoriety when failing her degree at Glasgow school of art in 2003 over a technicality, when a postcard of set instructions intended for examiners arrived a day after the hand in date. She is now doing the Pilcher residency in Leipzig and will post a set of instructions for V.T.O to carry out (hopefully on time).

Liam Scully: They call him the slick they call him the milkman because he always delivers. Scully parodies elements of popular culture, embraces it and attacks it. He is setting up this show and will include a piece of his own work. He graduated in 2002 from U.C.E. Birmingham and in 2003 Chelsea.
